Mark and Blessing Nwakamma began Fabaceae in Austin in 2016 after searching for the African food they missed. Rooted in their Nigerian heritage and open to the wider West African and Caribbean table, they have shared nourishing, boldly seasoned cooking in Houston since 2020.
