Mark and Blessing Nwakamma founded Fabaceae African Cuisine in Austin, Texas in November 2016 after they could not find an African restaurant that satisfied the flavors they were searching for.
They relocated Fabaceae to Houston in 2020, continuing a mission rooted in nourishment, joy, and the soulful essence of authentic West African and Caribbean cooking, carried by their own Nigerian roots.
